Yung Swiss drops new heat Locked Up ft Stanley Enow

Johannesburg, Wednesday, 28 September 2016 – David Genaro hit maker, Yung Swiss, is back at it again this time with a single that is surely going to take the continent by storm titled Locked Up. Yung Swiss teams up with African power house from Cameroon, Stanley Enow, on a joint that is already making waves on the continent.

Download Yung Swiss’s Locked Up featuring Stanley Enow here: https://goo.gl/OBbViO

Stream Yung Swiss’s Locked Up featuring Stanley Enow here: https://goo.gl/FDU3UU

Known for his insane hooks on tracks, extremely talented rapper, singer and songwriter from Rosettenville, Johannesburg, is determined to have the industry on lock and that’s literally because he keeps dropping one hit after the other.

Although Locked Up sounds completely different from his previous singles, Yung Swiss looks to raise the bar with this single as he shows his diverse music capabilities and makes in roads across the continent whilst growing his street cred locally.

With the high competition going on in the South African hip hop industry, Yung Swiss doesn't seem to be phased by the rivalry as he is riding in his own lane and doing so very comfortably.

Yung Swiss entered the music industry with his first commercial single last year and has been dominating the radio airways ever since. Yung Swiss’s I Love It featuring Reason made the hip hop industry take notice of him receiving nationwide radio airplay on platforms such as 5FM and YFM. However, no one saw Yung Swiss’s follow on single, David Genaro, coming. The track garnered nationwide popularity and the attention of local drama series, Rhythm City, to which the single has become somewhat of a theme song being aired multiple times during the screening of credits, pre and post the TV drama series.

Watch Yung Swiss’s David Genaro Remix music video featuring DJ Speedsta, Reason & Ginger Trill here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqr_ua1FyB0

Currently featuring on DJ Speedsta’s Mayo track, Yung Swiss has no shortage of hooks and the South Africa music industry and fans alike can expect a lot more from him.

Vth Season Press Statement "We anticipate an apology from Black Coffee to the young man"

Johannesburg, Monday, 26 September 2016 - The Vth Season confirms that one of our employees, Tshiamo Letshwene, who serves as a Road Manager, was involved in an altercation with Black Coffee this past weekend at the DSTV iRock Festival in Limpopo whilst Road Managing AKA and his band.

We are very surprised and disappointed to hear of the violent reaction by Black Coffee towards Tshiamo which was unexpected and unwarranted. Tshiamo is more shocked than injured. We admire and hold Black Coffee in high regard but his actions on Saturday night have let us down especially for Tshiamo who is a fan and considers Black Coffee a role model.

AKA was not late for his performance at the DSTV iRock Festival in Limpopo as media and event goers have reported. As an Agency, it is very important for us to be professional at all times with all our stakeholders. Three weeks ago we requested a performance time change for AKA to which the event organisers agreed and confirmed. We wanted to ensure that there was enough travel time for AKA and his band as they had another event prior to the DSTV iRock Festival and a private jet was chartered to ensure they got to Limpopo at the quickest possible time.

It is unheard of and highly unprofessional for an artist to have squabbles with another artist or his team members about performance line up details. Disputes should be addressed directly with the event organisers to which they would have been able to confirm to Black Coffee that they advised AKA’s band to set up at that particular time. AKA and his band were willing to wait to perform after Black Coffee’s set but were instructed to go on as planned. We cannot attest to whether or not Black Coffee was informed prior to Saturday night about the changes with his timeslot, but he had no business arguing with and then slapping Tshiamo.

For an artist that has been in the music industry for the amount of years that Black Coffee has, his actions on Saturday night don’t speak to the brand magnitude of what we know Black Coffee to be. His actions were ignorant, distasteful and not of someone level headed or mature. We applaud Tshiamo for keeping his cool and being professional throughout the altercation especially seeing that the anger and violence was misplaced.

“It's completely unacceptable for Black Coffee to have hit someone. We thought he was a gentleman and a professional. I'm sure he has something to say about his despicable and inexcusable action but in the meantime we anticipate an apology from Black Coffee to the young man” expresses Benza, Managing Director, Vth Season Talent and Entertainment Marketing Agency.

Taming the costs of paper with distributed document capture

Johannesburg, 22 September 2016 - South African organisations such as insurers, healthcare companies and government agencies still depend heavily on paper forms and documents for many of their business processes. Constrained by regulations, budget and legacy systems, they cannot yet completely digitise all of these processe. That is according to Malcolm Hart, CTO at i1 Solutions.

Yet paper-based processes are slow, expensive and introduce scope for human error. They also damage customer satisfaction and tie up corporate resources that could be deployed to areas of the business that add more strategic value. To address these challenges, South African businesses are starting to look towards distributed document capture solutions.

“These solutions enable companies to capture documents anywhere, digitise them immediately and eliminate the inefficiencies of moving paper. They streamline the capture, recognition, and classification of business documents and to quickly and accurately extract important information from those documents for use by business users and in applications,” says Hart.

Using distributed data capture, organisations can capture documents where data enters an organisation, for example at point where a field technician gets the customers sign off on a job or where a salesperson closes a contract with a customer.

Thus, rather than relying on centralised scanning operations, leading companies are taking advantage of the latest solutions that turn MFDs, mobile devices, and network and personal scanners into secure, easy-to-use capture workstations continued Hart.

Key functionality of a distributed data capture solution
A good distributed data capture solution will improve efficiency by automating three key areas:

·        Classification: The software should streamline document preparation tasks, such as manual sorting of documents into classes before scanning. It will enable users to scan a stack of mixed documents that will be automatically sorted.
·        Data extraction: It must also be able to extract information from unstructured documents dynamically, or use templates for forms-based documents—eliminating wasteful, error-prone manual data entry.
·        Validation: Finally, it should also provide multiple methods to automatically check captured data to verify accuracy.

Marketing-leading solutions like IBM’s Datacap use advanced cognitive computing technology to streamline management of documents. Using natural language processing, text analytics and machine learning technologies, these solutions automatically identify, classify and extract content from unstructured or highly variable documents that usually require manual intervention.  This can help significantly reduce labour and paper costs.

Benefits of distributed data capture
In a distributed data capture environment, employees and customers can perform capture tasks with easy-to-use interfaces on familiar devices. For example, new customer on-boarding or new loan applications can be concluded inside a mobile app rather than the paperwork going to a data capture hub.

As a result, important documents and data are fed into business processes and analytics systems quickly and accurately. Pre-configured workflows can be used to automate processing. This, in turn, reduces costs while enhancing the business’s agility and efficiency.

Distributed data also help reduce expenses by eliminating document shipping, paper handling and storage as well as decreasing manual data entry and the costs of indexing errors that cause lost or misrouted documents.

It also provides a dependable audit trail of who has captured the documents. Another potential benefit lies in better customer service. Customer-facing employees can process information quicker and more accurately, as well as easily access information electronically to answer customer inquiries.

Hart concludes that for South African organisations, distributed document capture can deliver rapid return on investment by boosting customer satisfaction, easing compliance and improving efficiencies. It is a technology that addresses one of the biggest challenges organisations face: taming the costs of paper and accelerating business processes to the pace of a digital world.

ENDS.
