#ALS_ICE_BUCKET_CHALLENGE

Let me read you the blog:

Ice Bucket at Mzansi…..

The ice bucket challenge, Mhhhhhh…. it really did achieve its goal because of it did hit South-Africa by storm. I mean everyone was participating in it going to grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, children even celebrities throughout the globe Tjo this was so big.

The Point for #HashTag

The point for #hashtag is really simple for me, let me just tell you that it was just meant to raise awareness about the disease #ALS amyotrophic literal sclerosis. But us beautiful South-Africans the #hashtag is simple we just need to put this #hashtag #MNDIceBucketChallenge I promise you, that #hashtag really did go viral just continue and sustain the momentum.

The rules for MND #IceBucketChallenge are simple….

Ø  Just capture a video of yourself doing the challenge J
Ø  You can upload your video on social media J
Ø  You can make it more fun by challenging your friends, family or your partner J
Ø  The most important thing you can do is to donate through the #MND.

Who, Who, Who I Mean Who Started the #IceBucketChallenge…..

Well I have the answer for you. The person who started the #IceBucketChallenge is still young. Mhhhhh okay enough about waiting, it is Pete Frates (29) he got neurodegenerative disease two years agoL.

The person that I am talking about is now is unable to talk you might be asking how does he survives? The answer is clear technology because he uses eye-tacking technology. I mean the person we are talking about here is unable to eat hence he does such an incredible initiative…..God bless our world.

All Eyes On Me People, I Mean Celebrities On #MND

Wow our beloved South-African celebrities did participate on this initiative…but not all of them. I mean even our Sport Minister Fikile Mbalula.

You Too Can Do It.....

I think as people from around the world can do this why can’t you….Ahhhh come-on let’s do this and raise awareness and help our friends and families. Your participation will be highly appreciated.

  1. The campaign was great and fun. I would like to know is, celebrities that actually participated on the ice bucket challenge internationally did donate money to the awareness. When it came to South Africa were the celebrities and people participating in the challenge did they donate towards the awareness or was it to show support

For charity awareness and contribution as to social responsibility with the aim of conquering such a disease, this campaign does put the sparks on, it is also interesting to see that there are also a number of prominent figures buying into this awareness activity, great way to show support and donation contributing.

  5. Looking at how the ice bucket challenge is slowly being participated by fewer people do you think that a hype of participating in the ice bucket challenge can be done again to create awareness or is it possible to establish another campaign to create awareness and get people to engage?
